Danielle Ferland played Little Red Riding Hood for the Original Broadway Cast & Recording in 1987, and went on to play The Baker's Wife for the Regional, 25th Anniversary Production in 2012

Danielle began her Broadway career at age 13, in 1984, in one of Stephen Sondheim's plays, Sunday in the Park with George, then went on to appear in Paradise! (1984) and Radio Days (1987), throughout these performances she highlights her talented singing voice and is cast to play Little Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods (1987), which would become her most decorated performance, earning her the Theatre World Award in 1988, and nominated for the Drama Desk Award in 1988. She then went on to perform in a myriad of other performances, some highlights being Mercy Lewis in The Crucible on Broadway in 1991 - 1992, multiple characters in A Year with Frog and Toad on Broadway in 2003, and Lydia Lubey in All My Sons on Broadway in 2008 - 2009.
In addition to theatre, she also engaged in multiple other ventures such as teaching a masterclass in 2009 at the Boston Children's Theatre; Directing A Year with Frog and Toad in 2011 at the Boston Children's Theatre; and appearing in multiple films and tv series such as The Normal Heart, Jessica Jones, and Tick, Tick... Boom!
